Coloured Up!

Few weeks ago, I attended a fashion business seminar held by Lasalle College. It was very inspiring to me. They invited 4 people who have already made their way to Indonesian fashion industry, and one of them is my senior in college, Kak Widya. Waw... I salute her for in her 26 or 27 years of age, she has already built a big fashion label, BLOOP-ENDORSE. Personally, I love spending big in her store also. Hehehe...

Anyway, the seminar really opened my mind. For all this time, I've been asking myself, what do I really want to do? What do I choose as my career? As I listened to Kak Widya's speech, I became more and more sure that fashion business is my passion. I cannot design any cloth, moreover sew it. Never good in any kind of that. Hihihi... But I can learn to have a business, and I love fashion. So... What's more to wait?

So right now, Nadya and I, are once again settling our business from the basic. We've done this before but right now, we're more serious than ever. ;p
Check out our new store at Facebook. Find our name as Whoopdeedoo Fash and enjoy looking around our stuffs! :D

Meanwhile, that's the outfit I wore to the seminar. Playful, girly, and stylish. Yet, I met so many high fashion people there that I became very usual there. But thanks to the neon colour, I didn't just disappear from the crowd. Colour did help! Tee hee!

Gotta wear colours more, somebody said to me.
And I got it right! :D

Silly Look on Silly Day

Last Nyepi day, I went out to Plangi to attend some kind of reunion with my college bestiest. We agreed to meet at Food Court at 11 am. Since I intended not to drive my car on that day, I asked my friend to pick me at home.

So he came... at 2 pm. Hahahaha!
Soon after we departed from my house, suddenly the rain's coming! Oh bad, this is bad! Why the heck did I choose not to drive my car, but instead depend myself to a biker??? We had to spend about half an hour at Hayam Wuruk Restaurant, me ordering strawberry juice and him nothing.

Well, at last, we made our way to Plangi and got there at 3 pm, safe and sound.

Haha... Don't I look a bit silly here? After all, I was going through a rather silly experience that day... Hehehe...

Vintagious Act

It was the night where all the good memories came back to me. I and my high school old pals, we are attending a drama that was held by our school. Way back then, when I was just a teenager like all the actresses that night, I was full of hopes and dreams.

Getting into character, or to put it in a word, acting, brings many extraordinary feelings to me. Those days, I even considered to pursue a more serious acting career in theater... Ah... Good times... Good times...

That night, I think I also did a little act by dressing up vintage style, since it's not very much my style. First, I intended to dress like Maria the first time she came to Von Trapp house; blue oldies dress, belt, flat shoes, tote bag, and a bow tie made up from a shawl. I even thought to bring a guitar... Hahaha...

But then I thought, why bother? So I decided to simplify the vintage image in my head. This is my another favorite color combo, red-white-black. Monochrome that has been spiced up.

Life In Mono

My friends once said that I'm way too gloomy in styling myself. I always wear too much black or grey or plain white.
What she didn't know was that I really love throwing on monochrome!
It makes me feel like if a Parisien or a New Yorker lady with some chic and classy look.
In the future, I will make sure to show you my other styles in monochrome. Gloomy? I know, but I love it! :)

Anyway, here is a picture of me in GI, hanging out with my bestiest after attending a holy matrimony of our friends. But I wore an ethnic necklace instead of the shawl when I was attending the ceremony.

and it all begins

Hiya!!

So this is my new blog. I'm not going to talk about boys, or works, or life in general here. There will be one topic that I will share with you guys here.

See, since I am developing an interest in fashion world, I think this is the best place to write about it. Actually, I've never been good with fashion. But like I said, style evolves as we do evolve. Hope that this blog could be a consistent record of my quest in fashion world.

See ya soon! :)
